Rosemarie Arena, M.D., values getting to know her patients as people first and foremost.  Her special interests include inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) and liver disease.

Dr. Arena received her medical degree, completed her residency and fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Her personal interests include, cooking, baking, figure skating, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Arena treated me in the hospital while I was there for an emergency admittance for a GI issue. She is absolutely wonderful! She is so so kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. She did an endoscopy on me and I had no sore throat, gas, or any bad side effects. She was able to find and diagnose my issue and give me proper treatment which aided me in finding relief from the pain I was having. I am very thankful to Dr. Arena and even though Glen Ridge is quite out of the way for me, I have decided that I will call her office to follow up with her instead of using another gastro doctor that may be closer to me. Thank you very much Dr. Arena!

I love Doctor Arena . She is so kind and takes time with you. She help me with a problem that I could have died from. I go to see her every few months to make sure I’m doing ok. God Bless her. She is a wonderful gastroenterologist. I wouldn’t see anyone else.
