    Dr. Steven Herman, Thoracic Surgeon, joins Mountainside Medical Group

    Montclair, NJ, - (January 2019) – Mountainside Medical Group has announced that Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center’s Chief of Thoracic Surgery Steven Herman, M.D., has joined the practice.

    Dr. Steven Herman holds several academic positions in prestigious institutions. He is an Associate Professor, Surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine at Seton Hall. Dr. Herman is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and SUNY-Downstate Medical School. He specializes in minimally invasive thoracic surgery and performed the first minimally invasive video VAT Lobectomy in the New York City region.
